About The Position

Bennington, a market-leading pontoon boat manufacturer and a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries (a Fortune 500 company), emphasizes innovation, design, product quality, and customer satisfaction, fueling its growth across 6 buildings in Elkhart, IN. The Finance Accounting Manager specializing in CPQ (Configure‑Price‑Quote) and ERP systems is responsible for ensuring the company’s financial processes, data flows, and system configurations support accurate reporting, efficient operations, and scalable growth. This role is part of the Finance organization and acts as the internal owner of integration between business and financial systems, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, IT, Supply Chain, and Leadership to optimize and analyze end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-7+years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including system ownership or heavy system interaction
  • Hands-on experience with CPQ platforms (e.g.,Infor CPQ) and ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial requirements into system design and process workflows
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with Process Improvement & Change Management
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to set goals, delegate and achieve those goals
  • Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally
  • Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CMA is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Finance lead for CPQ and ERP systems, ensuring configurations, workflows, and data structures align with accounting policies and business requirements
  • Ensure system controls support complinance with GAAP, internal audit standards and corporate policies
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies between CPQ, ERP, and CRM systems
  • Be a key part of the team working with financial master data governance (product hierarchy, pricing rules, cost structures)
  • Partner with IT on system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and change management
  • Develop dashboards and reports on pricing and margin performance
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership on margin improvement and pricing opportunities
  • Partner with project teams on system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and change management
