Finance Manager

BHCCharleston, SC
Onsite

About The Position

The Finance Manager partners with the Director of Finance to drive the financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis that shape decision-making at the property. This role translates day-to-day financial activity into insight — identifying trends, flagging risk, and building the forecasts, budgets, and business cases that ownership and operational leadership rely on to run the property profitably. The Finance Manager acts as a strategic business partner to property leadership, working across departments to stress-test assumptions, evaluate initiatives, and ensure financial reporting tells an accurate and actionable story. This role also provides oversight and direction to the Finance and Accounting Coordinator, ensuring the analytical work of the finance function is built on a clean, well-organized operational foundation. This role operates within a defined scope. General ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and technical accounting judgment remain the responsibility of the central Accounting team. The Finance Manager owns the forward-looking, analytical, and advisory work that sits on the finance side of that line — ensuring property leadership has the financial clarity needed to make sound decisions.
