About The Position

The Finance Manager assists the Director with financial reporting for the department and provides leadership and supervision to the accounts payable specialists. This role requires strong accounting, analytical, and computer skills, with the ability to gather and present data logically and professionally. The ideal candidate will take initiative, work with minimal direction, and communicate effectively with associates and management. Decision-making skills, prioritization abilities, and leadership are essential, as is maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• A minimum of five years of financial accounting experience.
• Proficient with various forms of PC software to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong accounting skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to work with minimal direction.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with associates and management.
• Skill and confidence in making decisions and prioritizing assignments.
• Leadership skills.
• Ability to guard the confidentiality of sensitive information.
