About The Position

We are looking for a Finance Manager to support MIPS’ IP Licensing and Tools businesses- core growth engines as we scale our RISC‑V and Physical AI platform. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IFRS revenue recognition and a strong understanding of how to align commercial deal structures with compliant accounting outcomes. This is a hands‑on finance leadership role, embedded in the business and influencing commercial and investment decisions.

Requirements

• CPA, MBA, or relevant Master’s degree
• 5–8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally in semiconductor IP licensing
• Deep expertise in IFRS 15 revenue recognition and contract structuring across complex technology arrangements
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive‑level presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure IP licensing and tools agreements
• Own end‑to‑end contract economics, including performance obligation assessment and revenue recognition under IFRS 15
• Ensure deal structures and revenue timing align with both commercial objectives and accounting requirements
• Act as the primary finance partner for Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders
• Evaluate R&D investments, cost structures, and profitability across licensing and tools offerings
• Support pricing, deal strategies, and trade‑off decisions with clear financial insights
• Lead end‑to‑end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the IP Licensing and Tools businesses
• Drive forecasting accuracy, operating cadence, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations
• Drive automation across FP&A and contract workflows, leveraging AI to improve forecast accuracy, efficiency, and scalability while reducing manual, spreadsheet‑driven processes
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
