About The Position

As the Finance Manager for Ventures, this position will operate in a growth-oriented and fast-paced business environment, requiring high energy, time-management, and organization. The manager will be responsible for providing financial analysis and audit support to the Finance Director for UH Ventures. This position will interact with multiple business leaders on behalf of the Finance Director on various financial affairs and presentations. Provide financial guidance and support to various operational leaders related to the business units. Prepares and coordinates submission of annual budgets, strategic plan, and forecasts for UH Ventures. Serve as a resource and financial advisor on special projects, new business plans, joint ventures, and other initiatives as needed. Some travel is expected as necessary to meet business needs. The manager may be engaged in cross-departmental and cross-functional projects as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant job experience
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Working knowledge of Financial Statements
• Working knowledge of Cost accounting
• Working knowledge of Revenue cycle
• Working knowledge of Utilization management and productivity
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of General ledger systems
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable systems
• Knowledge of Cost accounting systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of Excel

• Master's Degree in Business Administration (Preferred)
