About The Position

The Retail & Marcom Engineering Finance organization is chartered to provide sound financial governance and oversight across our Engineering teams, ensuring that Apple Retail and Marcom implement the right-sized projects (in terms of dollars and people resources) to keep us on the cutting edge of customer service. We are looking for someone who can not only support the workforce management behind these projects but also assess the portfolio’s financial health and provide thought leadership as we continue to evolve. This individual will partner with key stakeholders across the Engineering, Retail Business Unit, Marcom, and other IS&T teams, such as Business Planning and Finance. You will play a crucial role in managing Retail & Marcom Engineering’s workforce, from capacity planning and resource allocation to tool/process development to workforce strategy and change management. This leader will manage a team of analysts that provides workforce management and financial operations support and guidance across the lifecycle of software development projects and system sustenance. Success in this role includes leading and mentoring analysts, building trust and partnerships, driving results, influencing leadership through data, and being motivated to improve and innovate (especially in the face of ambiguity).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a high-performance organization, performing financial processes, reporting, and forecasting/modeling
  • Proven people leadership experience (direct or indirect)
  • Team leader and/or player with the ability to partner and influence across different organizations and at all levels
  • B.A./B.S. or higher in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
