About The Position

The Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Air Dominance Business Office is seeking an experienced and motivated financial manager looking to expand their leadership skills within the sustainment portfolio of the Air Dominance SSBU. This subset of the portfolio consists of fixed-price contracts with a focus on Factory performance with a focus on HPU and material analysis. These are high visibility contracts with significant complexities and potential impact to portfolio metrics given the P&L impact associated with their performance. The ideal candidate will be able to partner with program leadership and cross functional partners (PMO, supply chain, contracts, operations. security, DCMA, USG, etc.) to drive execution and influence change. You would be a critical business partner in providing insight and analysis to strategic decisions to achieve bottom-line results. Our partners are both on-site and remote which promotes open communication and flexibility within the role. This candidate should also be familiar with or excited to gain experience in the financial lifecycle from cradle to grave (proposal, negotiation, contract setup, baselining, execution, contract close-out). We are looking for someone who has a love for spreading knowledge and influencing process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Experience with MS Office, ex. Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups and/or conditional formatting, etc.)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
