About The Position
The Finance Manager- Governance & Value Realization is a member of the Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages team. The role establishes and leads governance frameworks to ensure commercial investments deliver measurable business outcomes. It serves as a strategic finance partner to Commercial, Revenue Growth Management, and Finance teams, promoting performance transparency, financial accountability, KPI governance, and value realization. The position combines financial stewardship with cross-functional leadership to monitor investment effectiveness, validate business results, manage risk, and support executive decision-making. It translates strategy into measurable outcomes while maintaining robust controls, compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Commercial Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Strategy, Performance Management, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial investments, financial controls, governance processes, or performance management programs.
- A strong track record of translating business initiatives into measurable financial outcomes.
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Financial modeling, ROI analysis, and business case evaluation skills.
- Forecasting, budgeting, and accrual management skills.
- KPI development, performance reporting, and data governance skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SAP, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Strong financial stewardship and business acumen.
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to balance governance, accountability, and operational execution.
- Influential communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative leadership that drives alignment and continuous improvement across functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead governance frameworks, policies, and operating processes that support business performance and accountability.
- Establish and manage KPI architectures, scorecards, and performance reporting connected to expected financial results.
- Ensure consistent execution of governance standards, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve business outcomes, operational efficiencies, and investment effectiveness.
- Evaluate the financial impact and return on commercial investments and strategic initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, accrual management, and performance tracking.
- Quantify realized versus planned benefits and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Deliver reporting and recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees.
- Maintain governance of performance metrics, measurement methodologies, and reporting processes.
- Ensure data integrity across multiple business systems and data sources.
- Support internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance monitoring.
- Drive adoption of analytical tools and reporting capabilities that enhance decision-making.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, and Operations teams to align priorities and drive results.
- Influence stakeholders through data-driven insights and objective recommendations.
- Lead communication, change management, and capability-building efforts related to governance and performance management.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Monitor business performance to proactively address gaps and emerging issues.
- Escalate governance exceptions and recommend corrective actions when needed.
