About The Position

The International Stores Central Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team seeks a Finance Manager to support the continued expansion of our International Stores business. This role is on a newly created team focusing on Automation, Standardization, and Centralization of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting tasks across the International Stores Finance portfolio. Specializing in Headcount and Operating Expenses, this role will also play a critical role in harnessing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to innovate and transform FP&A. The International Stores business has dedicated marketplaces outside of North America in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa, India, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Brazil, and Mexico, and is growing in footprint each year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 6+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
  • 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
  • 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, or CPA
  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Responsibilities

  • Drive process harmonization, simplification and automation through collaboration with Regional Finance and Corporate stakeholders.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses, benchmarking and other forward looking initiatives across International Stores.
  • Identify, resolve, or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues, improve controls to address financial risk and support frugality.
  • Improve communications among countries leading to enhanced oversight and visibility by corporate senior leadership.
