About The Position

As a Finance Manager 2 supporting the Facilities Team, you will be a thought-leader and strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insightful and relevant counsel, ensuring business decisions are appropriately based on accurate and reliable metrics and financial information. You will manage and oversee the development of financial budgets and forecasts and help drive cost awareness and efficiency. This role will report to the Finance Director of Corporate Functions. A successful candidate will possess sound strategic perspective, business judgment, analytical capabilities, and a collaborative working style. Additional success factors include demonstrating strong intellectual curiosity, a passion for achieving practical business impact, exceptional interpersonal skills, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to working our Hybrid Model with 3+ days per week onsite at our Austin, TX office.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis and management experience.
  • Experienced finance professional with FP&A expertise, and progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with business leaders.
  • Track record of collaborating and influencing partners across the organization.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP and Anaplan or equivalent.
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and deadline orientated environment.
  • Strong financial modelling capability, highly proficient in Excel, and financial planning systems.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize and articulate the highest impact initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills to communicate with senior executives and internal business partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with a Facilities team is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial budgeting and forecasting as well as close and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Serve as a value-added business partner & challenger interacting and providing financial planning and decision support to business stakeholders.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for senior leadership to enable optimal financial management of their area of the business.
  • Standardize and drive consistency in financial planning processes and strive for continuous improvement, identify, and execute on opportunities to reduce non-value-added work.
  • Partner with eBay’s accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
  • Assist in project-based initiatives to drive operating efficiencies across functions.
