About The Position

This is an exempt level position for a Finance Leadership Development Trainee. The program is designed for new graduates to launch their careers with a global leader, applying knowledge, learning from experienced professionals, and making an impact. ADM has received awards for its early career program and commitment to innovation and sustainability. The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is an early-career rotational program designed to build strong, well-rounded finance professionals. The ADM Finance team is crucial for business success, providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis for business support, development, and external reporting. ADM seeks high-caliber team players to gain diverse skills across different cultures in a progressive training program. Through hands-on experience, structured rotations, mentorship, and training, the program accelerates growth and prepares participants for high-impact finance roles at ADM. The program spans 18-24 months, offering broad exposure across multiple finance areas in North America. Participants will develop an end-to-end finance mindset, strengthen technical and leadership skills, and expand career opportunities through curated experiences and networking.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a rotational, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest to learn all aspects of Finance, Accounting, and Tax
  • Demonstrated capacity to handle a diverse number of projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written, time-management, detail-oriented, and organization skills
  • Ability to function effectively, both independently and with a team, as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organization
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Excel data tables, pivots, lookups, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) and interests in diverse Information Technology
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Business or other related discipline with a genuine interest for the agriculture and food industry.
  • Willingness to relocate to Decatur, IL as part of the program.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Standard office safety regulations
