About The Position

The Polaris Finance Leadership Development Program (F L DP) offers a unique opportunity to accelerate career development, business knowledge, and leadership skills through three years of rigorous business rotations within the Finance department. Challenging assignments will be given to accelerate career development for future positions of significant responsibility. The variety of work provides an introduction to Polaris and helps in deciding where to best apply interests to meet company needs. During this program, mentor relationships with business leadership will be established, continuing throughout the career with Polaris. Polaris provides the resources, support, and environment needed to achieve both personal and professional success in this role. Program Length: 3 Years. Rotation Length: 1 Year (3 X). Placement Locations could include: Plymouth, MN; Medina, MN; Huntsville, AL; Elkhart, IN; and/or Wyoming, MN. Areas of exposure in rotations include: Commercial (FP&A or Controllership role for one of our business units or functions), Operations (Engineering, Sourcing, Operations FP&A, or Manufacturing), and Enterprise (Treasury, Internal Audit, Corporate FP&A, Strategic Capital, Digital and IT or Financial Services). Upon completion of the Development Program, participants will transition into a full-time Finance-related position within the business, contingent on business needs and demonstrated skills and experience during the program.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or other related field with a graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week.
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
  • Must be willing to travel and relocate between sites for your rotations, as well as be mobile beyond the rotational program to support your career development.
  • Must have reliable transportation for daily commuting to and from the office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Active leadership experience in student organizations and/or work experiences with interest to continue to grow your leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated strengths in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
  • Strong interest in long-term career development.
