About The Position

Prudential is seeking motivated and goal-orientated interns to join our team for the 2027 Corporate, Finance Internship Program (FIP). This 10-week summer internship program offers a valuable opportunity to work on impactful projects, demonstrate skills and talents, and gain foundational knowledge and skills in a professional environment. Interns will develop strong relationships through training, mentorship, and ongoing feedback. The program aims to identify top talent for Prudential's Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). The vision of Global Finance is to be the preeminent Finance team in Financial Services, supporting business growth strategies and initiatives within Global Retirement & Insurance, PGIM, and International. Interns may be placed in a line of business or a Corporate Finance function, analyzing data and presenting their skills to their team. This internship is a potential first step towards a long-term career with Prudential, with opportunities to return as an intern or transition into a full-time role.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
  • Preferred areas of study: Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Information Systems, MIS, and/or Operations.
  • Preferred 3.2 GPA and above
  • Possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration

  • Strong interest in Finance
  • Proficiency in technical tools, with a particular focus on Excel
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing environments, think critically to solve problems, collaborate across peer groups and different levels of management.
  • Experience in leading ideas, teams, and initiatives
  • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Applying classroom knowledge to support the reconciliation and analysis of financial results
  • Collaborating with business partners on key deliverables
  • Analyzing current financial operations and initiate efforts to improve process efficiencies
  • Assist in special projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc report and analysis requests
