About The Position

Prudential is seeking motivated and goal-orientated interns to join our team for the 2027 Corporate, Actuarial Internship Program (AIP). This summer internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, offering a valuable opportunity to work on impactful projects where you can demonstrate your skills and talents. You'll be part of a dynamic environment that encourages learning, growth, and networking. We offer opportunities to return as an intern or transition into a full-time role upon successful completion of the program. Actuaries at Prudential partner with groups such as marketing, sales, underwriting, and investments to create new insurance, annuity retirement, and investment products. In addition to roles in traditional actuarial areas, our actuaries also work in finance, investment, asset management, and marketing. This presents a unique opportunity for our actuaries to move around the organization and develop their careers with a variety of different teams.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
  • Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intellectually curious and open to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors include Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant math-focused major.
  • Preferred 3.2 GPA and above.
  • Knowledge of modeling packages, programming languages, and spreadsheet/database software preferred.
  • Passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams preferred.

  • Contribute in a meaningful way, add new value to organization initiatives and effect change.
  • Placement within the Actuarial Internship Program can include a combination of the following disciplines: Assumptions Modeling, Pricing and Product Development, Projections, Valuation.
