About The Position
The Finance Intern will rotate through the functional areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Pricing, Billing, Data Management, General Ledger, and Financial Planning and Analysis, assisting with projects including data management, account reconciliation, working capital improvement, and profit optimization. Requirements
- Current college student currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance preferred with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- General understanding of GAAP principles
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Basic understanding of PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks and assist in various projects to gain a broad understanding of a complete finance department including, but not limited to: Line of Business Forecasting and Analysis, Corporate Forecasting and Analysis, Operations / Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Treasury / Audit / Tax
- Assist in the creation of internal Business Intelligence reporting
- Assist in managing integrity of data critical to the functions of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Assist in ongoing initiatives to improve working capital and customer profitability
