About The Position
The role of the Finance Intern is to support the processes within the department in order to ensure proper accounting, robust reporting, and creation of detailed forecasts and other analysis. Performs numerous admin functions in support of the Program, Acquisition & Product Line teams.
Requirements
- Financial analysis & Modeling
- Intermediate Excel
- Capability to work within a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, General Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2.8 GPA

Responsibilities
- Development programs dashboard and MPMR
- Acquisition program BP tool data entry
- Ad hoc financial analysis and modeling
- Prepare and publish awards books for new business awards
- Generate reclass journal entries to correct errors found in WBS analysis
- Create WBS numbers for Acquisition/Development programs based upon approvals received
- Administrator of the ACA spending control process
- Support team on analysis of actual spending, open commits, etc. regarding WBS spending
- Data analysis and trouble-shooting
- Support special projects as assigned
- Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
- Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
