About The Position

M-D is seeking an analytical and motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This paid internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools).
Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct data analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Collaborate with the finance team to analyze cost trends and identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiency.
Help maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support the team in reconciling accounts and verifying financial transactions.
Assist with audits by gathering and organizing necessary documentation.
Research and analyze financial metrics and provide insights to improve decision-making.
Participate in special projects related to financial modeling, process improvement, or system implementation.
