Finance Intern
About The Position
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in auditing and financial review processes. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial operations, data validation, and process documentation. The intern will assist with reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the organization and accuracy of financial data. This experience will contribute to both the intern’s professional development and the overall efficiency of financial operations. The principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to submit to background screening
- Must be eligible to receive academic credit through an accredited college or university
- Documentation from the academic institution may be required prior to the start of the internship
Responsibilities
- Assist with auditing financial transactions and records
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Support reconciliation processes and documentation
- Organize and maintain financial tracking spreadsheets
- Assist in identifying discrepancies and reporting findings
- Support documentation of finance workflows and processes
- Assist with ad hoc finance-related projects as needed
