Danaher's Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Team, based in Washington D.C, is looking for outstanding college students majoring in Accounting, Finance or other related field for our internship program. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects. This internship will report to the Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis function at Danaher Corporation. This individual will act as a finance business partner across the G&A organization including Finance, Legal, IT, DBS, Investor Relations and Tax. This candidate will support the forecasting processes for corporate functional leadership. There will be additional involvement with special projects as needed.

Requirements

Enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or similar Major
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities
Strong financial analysis skills
Basic accounting background
Good analytical and decision-making skills
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

A minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Undergrad in Business/Finance/Accounting Majors preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience working on various projects
Act as a finance business partner across the G&A organization including Finance, Legal, IT, DBS, Investor Relations and Tax
Support the forecasting processes for corporate functional leadership
Be involved with special projects as needed
Perform Financial Analysis using Power BI, Onestream (including Excel add-in), Excel, etc.
Learn corporate forecasting processes and reporting
Perform report writing and preparation
Prepare presentations for reviewing results with senior leaders
Conduct variance analysis of key financial metrics/results
Work on special projects as needed (i.e. budget projects, headcount projects, G&A deep dives)
