About The Position

Nederman Shared Services is looking for an engaged and driven summer intern based in their office in Charlotte, NC. In this role, the summer intern will assist in a variety of accounting and finance tasks. Nederman Shared Services provides accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounting and finance services to the North American Nederman entities. This position will support these functions and may participate in account reconciliations, data entry, reporting and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to support all other departments within the company and coordinate cross-functional projects and information sharing sessions.
• Self-starter who is motivated and has a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounting and finance functions.
• Participate in account reconciliations.
• Perform data entry.
• Assist with reporting.
• Undertake other tasks as needed.
