Finance Intern - Treasury

Our Finance department is looking to add a dynamic Finance Intern to the Treasury team. This multi-functional role requires the ability to work quickly and wear many hats while meeting deadlines and goals. This position will report to the Treasury Manager. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in finance, customer service, and design. The right candidate will thrive in our fun and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Working toward bachelor’s degree – Finance or Accounting major preferred
Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks and change direction based on business needs
High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Highly organized and exceptional follow-through skills
Ability to identify root causes of problems and recommend solutions
Comfortable working across multiple systems
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative

Responsibilities

Be a member of the Treasury team, reporting to the Treasury Manager
Review, post, and apply payments from customers
Assist with daily cash forecasting
Research customer accounts with unapplied payments and create solutions to correct those accounts
Partner with the Accounting team to assist with monthly bank reconciliation process
Research payments in bank portals
Assist with additional projects and reporting as needed
Respond to and manage all inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy of information
Demonstrate passion for excellence in providing the best customer experience
