This internship is a paid opportunity.

Requirements

Current Sophomore or Junior with demonstrated interest in Commercial Real Estate
This internship requires an ongoing pursuit of a college degree preferably in business, finance, commercial real estate or a related field
Efficient with Excel, Word, Spreadsheets
Detail oriented
Multi-tasking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the commercial loan approval process and identify potential risks and mitigants.
Develop an understanding of the Bank’s specialty finance program.
Develop an understanding of the management and workout of special assets.
Work with the Appraisal Review team to gain an understanding of the commercial appraisal process – appraisal bidding, engagement, review, tracking, and data management.
Interact with multiple lines of businesses- Single Tenant Lease (STL), Acquisition Development and Construction (ADC), Commercial and Industrial (C&I), Small Business Administration (SBA).
Responsible for preparing and delivering monthly reports that highlight portfolio performance and emerging risks.
Exposure to other Credit Administration functions of the Bank
Perform other duties as assigned
