The Global Finance Project Manager will drive both local & and global project management, partnering closely with finance and cross-functional teams to drive critical projects on time, within budget, and aligned with key business requirements. About the Team: Finance Integrated Solutions (FIS) drives Finance technology solutions, enabling Apple’s growth and expansion of products and services — championing compliance, cross-functional alignment, and on-time delivery with quality and integrity. We are a global team driving the Finance track for cross-functional initiatives. As a Global Finance Project Manager within FIS, you will lead the planning and execution of end-to-end Project Lifecycle (PLC) deliverables for complex financial initiatives. You will serve as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology groups to implement new systems, optimize financial processes, and champion operational readiness. In this role, you will proactively resolve material risks and leverage emerging AI and automation capabilities to ensure Apple Finance delivers sustainable, high-impact business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional background in Finance, Accounting, or financial systems project management.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
• Proven track record of collaborating with technical engineering teams and business users to bring complex projects to market on time.
• Demonstrated background in project management methodologies, with strength in facilitation, conflict resolution, and end-to-end problem-solving.
• Capability to indirectly lead and influence global, cross-functional teams while navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.

Nice To Haves

• CPA, MBA, Six Sigma, or PMI/PMP certification.
• Hands-on expertise or formal qualification in SAP Financials.
• Background in implementing new legal entities and operational processes in support of an expanding global footprint.
• Track record of managing multiple concurrent priorities across global, virtual teams while navigating cultural nuances.
• Exceptional executive presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Strong aptitude for process evaluation, business relationship building, and autonomous problem-solving under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and execute comprehensive Project Lifecycle (PLC) deliverables, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), detailed project plans, milestone tracking, and implementation schedules for new systems and processes.
• Act as the central liaison between finance business stakeholders and technical engineering groups to ensure technical deliverables directly satisfy business objectives.
• Identify and manage critical project milestones, proactively surfacing material issues and accelerating resolution to safeguard delivery timelines and functional scope.
• Deliver clear, concise updates regarding overall status, risks, and recommended action plans to project teams and executive management.
• Formulate and execute change management, communication, transition, and testing plans to secure seamless execution, user adoption, and system readiness.
• Drive project efficiency, team productivity, and deliverable quality by identifying and integrating AI tools and automation into day-to-day project workflows.
• Partner and negotiate with global cross-functional partners and leadership across diverse time zones and cultures to deliver projects within scope and budget.
