About The Position

The Finance Rotation Development Program at Roche offers high-potential future leaders the chance to gain exposure to critical roles within the Finance organization. Over a 2-year period, selected candidates will complete four rotations, each lasting between 3 and 8 months, within different DIA Finance chapters. This program is designed to provide challenging assignments and training in both technical and leadership areas, with the ultimate goal of developing highly talented future finance leaders within the company. Participants will assume leadership roles, have access to senior managers, and be matched with a mentor. Upon successful completion, candidates will be considered for Enterprise Finance Business Partner roles within DIA Finance. The program aims to foster a culture of personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where individuals are valued, accepted, and respected.

Requirements

  • Recent college undergraduate with Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Informatics.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • Required graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
  • Between one and two years of work experience (including internships).
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving and strategic analytical and agility skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills which enable collaboration in local and global networks.
  • Passionate about financial modeling, investment valuation and trade-off analysis.
  • Have a global mindset and think beyond boundaries with a high degree of regional/global mobility during and after the program.
  • Show strong leadership potential and have the ambition to take on a leadership position in finance in the near future.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and foster a culture of business innovation.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior working and/or internship experience in public accounting and management consulting preferred.
  • Prior working and/or internship experience in the healthcare sector preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to roles critical to the Finance organization at Roche.
  • Participate in four rotations between 3 and 8 months in different DIA Finance chapters.
  • Undertake challenging assignments and training in technical and leadership areas.
  • Assume a leadership role (e.g. Product Owner) in at least one assignment.
  • Engage with senior managers through a Steering Committee.
  • Work with a matched mentor to support career development.
  • Be considered for Enterprise Finance Business Partner roles upon successful program completion.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies, including AI, machine learning and RPA to provide financial transparency, drive productivity and derive insights.
  • Simplify complex information into clear, synthesized insights as a basis for decision making at all levels of the organization.
