The Finance FP&A Supervisor analyzes profit-and-loss statements, develops forecasts, and delivers strategic insights to support business decision-making. This role partners with leadership to evaluate performance, identify trends, and model future business scenarios.

Requirements

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or be a current UPS employee with a minimum of three years of UPS Experience
  • Must be located Atlanta, GA or be willing to self-relocate
  • Understand concepts of finance, accounting, and general business principles
  • Displays relationship-building skills to foster effective relationships across function finance leads, business units and members of the executive leadership team
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrates experience in data analyses using Microsoft Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL) and presenting financial results using PowerPoint
  • Experience in project management and managing multiple projects
  • Experience with financial reporting and P&L analysis
  • Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Finance Accounting or related field

Responsibilities

  • Analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements and provides actionable recommendations to management
  • Develop financial forecasts and analyze trends across sales, finance, and other business areas.
  • Build financial models to support “what-if” scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc.
  • Conduct economic and financial research, including analysis of rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
  • Monitor economic trends and provide insights to support organizational financial planning.
  • Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support finance leads, business units, and executive leadership.
  • May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a “player coach” but primary focus is individual expertise.
