About The Position

The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia invites applications for a tenure track assistant, associate or full professor faculty appointment in Finance to begin Fall 2027. We seek to hire faculty who stand out with respect to both research productivity and teaching potential. We seek candidates in all areas of study in finance. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the Darden School is recruiting in the areas of Accounting, Data Analytics and Decision Sciences; Finance; Leadership, Organizational Behavior, & Communications; Technology and Operations Management; Strategy, Entrepreneurship, & Ethics; and the Bodily Bicentennial Professorship in Analytics. Requirements

• Terminal degree by the start of the position.
• Active academic research program indicating ability to generate work of the highest quality and potential to publish in premier outlets.
• Capability to teach in a student-centered environment requiring excellence in engaging students in a dynamic setting.
• Capability to develop curriculum materials for both internal and external use.
