Reporting to the EVP, Finance and Support Services, CFO, CIO, the Director, Finance will lead core financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and planning, while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization. Requirements

  • CPA-designated finance leader
  • Progressive experience in healthcare or the broader public sector
  • Ability to take complex concepts, translate them into clear plans, and execute with confidence.
  • Experience with hospital or ministry reporting, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Leadership maturity – sound judgment, credibility, and the ability to get things done.
  • Leads with trust, not micromanagement.
  • Collaborative, coaching‑oriented style that builds confidence and capability in others.
  • Skilled at working across disciplines – partnering effectively with clinical leaders, research, technology, and peer directors.
  • Comfortable supporting leaders with varying levels of financial literacy.
  • Curious and open‑minded.
  • Motivated to learn the business deeply.
  • Ability to draw out the existing strengths of a capable team, positioning finance as an engaged, respected, and value‑adding partner across the organization.
