About The Position

An innovative role combining deep finance expertise with advanced Power BI capabilities, Alteryx, SQL and AI knowledge to revolutionize financial reporting and analytics. Working alongside senior finance leadership, you will operate with high autonomy to deliver next-generation financial insights through Power BI solutions while maintaining strong financial planning and analysis capabilities. The position demands exceptional analytical skills and the ability to transform complex financial data into actionable business intelligence.

Requirements

• Deep demonstrable knowledge with advanced development capabilities, expert-level DAX programming, data modelling skills, and experience with AI features and Premium functionalities
• Strong SQL skills for complex data extraction and manipulation, basic Alteryx experience, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of Power BI governance, security, and administration
• Strong finance background or extensive experience working with financial data, proven track record in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting with business context interpretation
• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate and remove roadblocks, and proactive nature in identifying AI and automation opportunities
• Strong attention to detail with quality assurance mindset essential for financial data accuracy, excellent teamwork skills across Finance, FP&A and IT teams
• Must have the right to work and live in India.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced Power BI dashboards incorporating AI capabilities and automated insights while optimizing performance through expert DAX programming
• Design comprehensive financial data models, integrate multi-source data using SQL and leverage Alteryx for automated data preparation and transformation processes
• Demonstrate expertise in Power Query editing, DAX measures, Power BI server administration including dataflows, semantic models while maintaining gold standard reporting through peer review processes
• Present financial insights confidently to non-finance audiences, support the wider Finance team in aligning business problems with AI-driven solutions, and champion visualization best practices
• Lead digital transformation initiatives in financial reporting, pioneer AI technology integration, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement through automation
• Deliver accurate monthly management reporting dashboards with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year, while analysing financial and operational KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
