About The Position

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Data Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting through robust data management and insightful analysis. The role transforms raw financial data into actionable intelligence to contribute to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. It is based on-site at Jabil’s Salt Lake City, Utah/Grantsville facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
• 0–2+ years of experience in a financial analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting concepts, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data manipulation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a large manufacturing or technology company.
• VBA experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from financial systems and sources such as SAP, ERP systems, and data warehouses.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
• Perform financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant insights.
• Support preparation of senior management presentations and reports highlighting financial performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data in financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial systems and tools as required.
