About The Position

Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the Finance Clerk assists in the on-going maintenance of internal records and reports and in the preparation and maintenance of records and schedules for all agency accounts and programs. The Finance Clerk assists in the appropriate and safe handling of agency financial records, forms, correspondence, and documents.

Requirements

  • A minimum one-year Bookkeeping Certificate is required.
  • A minimum of one-year work experience in accounts payable, preferably in a non-profit agency.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check/ Vulnerable Sector Check is required upon hiring.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Finance Manager in relation to service requirements.
  • Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s Licence and have access to a personal reliable vehicle; with $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a non-profit agency is preferred.
