About The Position

Ontario County is seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time Finance Clerk II (HELPS Program) position within the County Treasurer’s Office. The role involves maintaining financial accounts and associated financial records.

Requirements

  • Possession of Associate’s Degree, or higher, in accounting, business administration, finance or a closely related field; OR
  • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND two (2) years of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in the maintenance of financial accounts and associated financial records; OR
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2) above.
