About The Position

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with operational leaders to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for a portfolio of business areas. You'll help leaders understand their financial and operational performance by providing meaningful analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting robust decision-making. You'll also contribute to organisation-wide planning processes and work with colleagues across Finance to continuously improve the way we plan, report and measure performance. This role offers variety, challenge and the opportunity to make a real impact across an organisation where finance plays an important strategic role.

Requirements

A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Commerce or a related discipline.
Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting or business partnering.
Analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences.
A collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA or similar.
Experience in research, science or public sector organisations.
