About The Position

The Finance Business Partner serves as a key strategic advisor to the General Manager and leadership team, driving financial performance, cash flow improvement, and informed operational decision-making in a dynamic transformation environment. This role delivers actionable business insights, leads financial planning and working capital management, conducts profitability analysis, and prepares performance reporting to support turnaround, restructuring, and growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines deep finance and accounting expertise with a hands-on, results-oriented mindset and the ability to influence decisions in a fast-paced, evolving industrial business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, business controlling, financial analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management.
  • Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and integrated business software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated finance and accounting controllership experience with the ability to manage general financial administration and specialized accounting analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business recommendations.
  • Solid project management capabilities to lead and support financial and operational initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive operational and commercial performance through financial insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • High degree of accountability, integrity, and attention to detail in all financial activities.
  • Self-starter with a hands-on, results-oriented approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required by business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a turnaround, restructuring, growth, or transformation environment is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineering, project-based businesses, or industrial services is preferred.
  • Experience in cost accounting and managing cost center budgets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key financial business partner to the General Manager and leadership team, providing clear financial insights and analysis to support operational, commercial, and strategic decisions.
  • Drive turnaround and transformation initiatives focused on cash generation, profitability improvement, cost optimization, working capital management, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, financial reports, and business performance analyses to improve visibility, accountability, and execution across the organization.
  • Evaluate business performance and recommend specific actions to improve profitability, productivity, and overall financial results.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management reporting and decision-making.
  • Support margin analysis, pricing evaluations, contract reviews, and commercial decision-making to enhance revenue quality and profitability.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support business growth, investment decisions, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and support liquidity planning to ensure adequate funding for operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including customer collections, monitoring overdue accounts, and driving follow-up actions to improve cash conversion.
  • Support accounts payable planning and cash disbursement scheduling to optimize cash flow and working capital.
  • Maintain effective financial controls and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Manage insurance administration activities, including policy renewals, claims support, and documentation of insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Service, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Human Resources, and global finance teams to align financial goals with operational plans.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as customers, banking institutions, insurance providers, CPA firms, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies in support of financial and compliance objectives.
  • Participate in month-end close activities in coordination with the global finance team, including supporting AP/AR, assisting with expense reconciliation, and working with external bookkeeping support.
  • Manage cost center budgets and provide ongoing financial analysis to support cost control and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and analyze insurance portfolios as part of broader financial administration responsibilities.
  • Perform special projects and other finance-related duties as assigned while adhering to company health, safety, and environmental policies and practices.
