About The Position

Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for its Finance team to work with NBT teammates and other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a fully functional ERP/MES solution to Nucor's Sheet, Plate and Structural Mills. This is a full-time position with Nucor Business Technology, based in Irving, TX. Project-related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

3–4 years of experience in accounting or a finance-related role (public or corporate accounting experience preferred)
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards
Immigration or work via sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Nice To Haves

MBA, CPA, or CMA
Public or corporate accounting experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Oracle EBS and/or PSI
Relocation to the Dallas area

Responsibilities

Facilitating discussions between divisions and partners to develop aligned business processes.
Performing gap analysis and documenting comprehensive business requirements, such as process flows, business rules, interface design, data analysis and data mapping in collaboration with subject matter experts and IT stakeholders.
Solution design: define design options, analyze potential value, recommend solutions, specify and model requirements, etc.
Testing: create test scenarios/scripts (for functional, negative and regression testing) and execute testing in various environments.
Training: create related documentation and training for both internal and external customers/users.
