As a Finance Associate within PNC's Retail Banking Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Finance Associate you will be part of the PNC Finance team, specifically working in support of our Customer Care Center – a critical and dynamic segment within our Retail Banking line of business. You will be part of a team that provides support and financial analysis to senior management regarding the efficiency and financial performance of PNC’s primary Customer Care Center. On a monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc basis, your contributions will assist the business segment in managing both business growth and operating efficiency. The Financial Associate role primary responsibilities include the preparation of reports and financial analysis to support the forecast, budget, and internal reporting processes for Retail Finance. The individual should have a background in finance or accounting, financial analysis and variance analysis skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail. Within the role, there will be a variety of tasks that require technical skills such as Hyperion and Excel. Responsibilities

  • Prepares timely, transparent, and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders.
  • Produces timely and precise revenue, expense, and staffing forecasts.
  • May develop strategic insights from data to enhance budget and forecast accuracy.
  • Contributes to annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting.
  • Contributes to development of long term strategic plans.
  • Prepares key financial forecasts, metric-driven performance dashboards, and strategic business insights for business leaders and executives.
  • Performs on-demand analysis and generates custom reports to address specific business needs.
  • Collaborates with the business on implementation and compliance of new accounting and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitates audit, regulatory, and investor requests by providing timely and accurate information.
  • Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes.
  • Navigates professional interactions with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment and shared success.
