As a Finance Associate within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. The role is primarily responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller and Investor Relations through preparation and analysis of Consolidated PNC financial forecasts. The opportunity lies within PNC’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department and requires working collaboratively with key business partners including LOB, Shared Service, and ALM finance teams. Responsibilities will grow and change over time, but duties and responsibilities will include the following: Assist in the preparation of board and executive level financial presentations, including quarterly financial forecast updates and annual budget and strategic plans. Prepare quarterly analysis of consolidated actual results and earnings release support. Develop and cultivate collaborative relationships with key business partners in support of Enterprise and FP&A deliverables. Support and perform financial analysis requests from key stakeholders including Investor Relations and LOB/Shared Service/ALM Finance teams. Leverage Hyperion Planning and Management Reporting tools to build variance commentary and perform ad-hoc analysis. Enhance deliverable execution and efficiency through continued integration of the Workiva reporting application. Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of board and executive level financial presentations, including quarterly financial forecast updates and annual budget and strategic plans.
  • Prepare quarterly analysis of consolidated actual results and earnings release support.

  • Contributes to annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting.
  • Contributes to development of long term strategic plans.
  • Prepares key financial forecasts, metric-driven performance dashboards, and strategic business insights for business leaders and executives.
  • Performs on-demand analysis and generates custom reports to address specific business needs.
  • Collaborates with the business on implementation and compliance of new accounting and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitates audit, regulatory, and investor requests by providing timely and accurate information.
  • Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes.
  • Navigates professional interactions with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment and shared success.
