About The Position

The Innovation Finance & Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Innovation and collaborates closely with innovation, research, finance, and operational teams across the organization and with external partners. This position is responsible for coordinating financial and administrative activities related to innovation initiatives, projects, partnerships, and programs. The coordinator supports budgeting, invoice processing, expense tracking, procurement coordination, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and general program operations across a growing portfolio of healthcare innovation activities. As an integral member of the team, the Innovation Finance & Program Coordinator helps ensure accurate and timely financial and operational processes while supporting effective communication and collaboration across multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, initiative, adaptability, and sound judgment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
  • 1+ years’ relevant program coordination experience
  • Attention to detail and well organized with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal (in English)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate financial administration activities for innovation projects and programs
  • Prepare payment requisitions, purchase requests, invoices, expense reconciliations, and other financial documentation for approval and processing
  • Track project budgets, expenses, invoices, contracts, and funding allocations
  • Support procurement, vendor coordination, and contract administration processes
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project tracking tools, dashboards, and financial summaries
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, documentation, scheduling, and follow-up actions for innovation initiatives and committees
  • Support reporting requirements for internal leadership, funding agencies, and external partners
  • Maintain organized electronic records and ensure documentation is retained according to organizational policies and procedures
  • Support onboarding and coordination activities for innovation pilots, partnerships, and projects
  • Assist with the development and improvement of administrative, financial, and operational processes
  • Liaise with internal departments including finance, procurement, legal, communications, research, and clinical teams as required
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives within the innovation portfolio
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
