About The Position

Squint is seeking a Finance and Operations Associate to support its growing financial and operational functions. This is a generalist role that involves supporting core finance processes and taking on cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable owning processes, proficient in Excel/spreadsheets, and energized by a variety of tasks. They should be proactive and capable of figuring things out independently.

Requirements

2-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business operations (consulting, banking, or startup ops background welcome).
Hands-on experience with financial modeling.
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
A track record of being a trusted operational partner, not just an executor of instructions.

Responsibilities

Support the finance function, including annual forecasting and monthly revenue review.
Own and improve recurring operational processes such as reporting, reconciliations, and documentation.
Take on cross-functional projects, acting as a go-to person for ownership of new initiatives or process gaps.
Build dashboards and reporting to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership.
