About The Position

Our services include assisting our clients with field investigations of corrosion phenomena, research and testing of materials, developing training materials, and development of specifications. Elzly has an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Contracts Specialist based out of our Reston, VA office. Hybrid work from home roles will also be considered. This position is full time (or part-time if preferred) with a blend of accounting responsibilities, contracts management, and general administrative tasks including: Accounts Payable and Receivable: Receiving and entering bills for staff and corporate account purchases, processing Concur-based expense reports, creating bank payments and printing checks, drafting customer invoices, monitoring P&L’s, using QuickBooks and NetSuite, and performing government contract submittits into eCraft/WAWF. Payroll: Monitoring submission of time and manager approvals, contacting delinquent staff, and generating a time file bi-weekly to submit to Headquarters for payroll processing. Contract and subcontract management: development of government contract deliverables, drafting and issuing Subcontracts and Purchase Orders, incurred cost reports and other DCAA reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) experience
  • Prior experience with government cost accounting and DCAA requirements
  • Prior experience with government contracting including eCraft and WAWF/PIEE submittals
  • Essential knowledge of general office skills, computers, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel), and basic accounting principles
