Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or relative area of study with two (2) to five (5) years of relative experience in banking, midstream oil and gas, corporate finance or consulting; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models (three‑statement, project IRR/NPV, payback period).
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and valuation methodologies; familiarity with midstream or energy preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the corporate long‑range model (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and returns).
  • Lead or support annual budget and recurring forecast processes, including scenarios and sensitivities.
  • Prepare monthly management and Board reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards for volumes, revenues, OPEX, capex, and project returns.
  • Partner with Operations to manage operating expense budgets and forecasts; track run‑rate trends and savings initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering on capital budgets and project‑level forecasts; monitor actuals vs. budget spend.
  • Perform basin and producer analysis (type curves, declines, tariffs, basis, contract terms) to support planning and risk management.
  • Support Treasury and Accounting with lender reporting, covenant analysis, and ad‑hoc requests.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analytical projects for executive leadership and the Board.
  • Build and run project and connection economics to evaluate gathering and transportation opportunities.
  • Prepare term sheet economics and return profiles to support commercial negotiations with producers and counterparties.
  • Develop pad and DSU level models (volumes, tariffs, MVCs) and track actual vs. forecasted performance.
  • Assist in evaluating M&A and joint venture opportunities, including valuation, pro forma modeling, synergy analysis, and integration impact.
  • Monitor competitor pipelines, tariffs, and basin level developments; summarize implications for Bridger’s asset base.
  • Support contract management by helping track key terms, expirations, and volume commitments across the portfolio.
  • Assist with post-mortem reviews of acquisitions and capital connection projects, comparing assumptions to actual performance and summarizing lessons learned for future deals.
