The finance and administration director is responsible for the financial health, human resources, and organizational integrity of South Puget Sound Habitat. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, the director provides financial strategy and direction, oversees budgeting and forecasting, and ensures strong financial controls, reporting, and compliance. The director leads the organization’s human resources function, supports a strong and well-run workplace, and oversees key areas of organizational policy, risk, and third-party requirements. They also supervise staff responsible for accounting and regulatory obligations and help ensure the organization has the systems, information, and resources needed to make sound decisions. South Puget Sound Habitat’s complex business structure includes construction expenses, grant compliance and billing, a mortgage portfolio, home sales, retail store operations, and general nonprofit operations. This role plays a central part in building the financial and organizational capacity needed to manage that complexity and support sustainable growth. There is opportunity to make this role into a senior director role, depending on qualifications.
