About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Davis A/C & Heating, Inc. as our full-time Finance and Accounting Specialist in Angleton, TX. This full-time, in-office opportunity offers stability, professional growth, and a competitive pay rate of $18 – $20 per hour. You will work onsite in Angleton, TX, from Monday through Friday. Your regular work hours will be either 7:00 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, giving you a consistent and predictable workweek. Providing Houston homeowners and businesses with outstanding air conditioning service and home heating repair has been our pleasure since 1971. Five decades later, we employ 60 skilled employees and dispatch 30 service trucks. We take pride in being at the forefront of new technology, and we offer a range of energy-efficient options. As an Energy Star Contractor, a member of the Building Performance Institute, and a Professional Comfort Institute Contractor, we stay current on the latest industry developments to better serve our customers.

Requirements

Relevant accounting or office experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities

Process and maintain accurate financial records daily.
Prepare, review, and organize accounting documents and reports to ensure accuracy and order.
Reconcile accounts and research any discrepancies that arise, guaranteeing that all records are up-to-date and correct.
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members, supporting the company's operations.
Assist with critical month-end and year-end accounting activities, playing a key role in the company's financial operations.
