About The Position

Aurora Organic Dairy is a leader in organic milk production, dedicated to sustainable farming practices and delivering high-quality organic dairy products to families across the United States. We are seeking a motivated and eager Accounting Intern to join our finance team for the summer of 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on exposure to corporate accounting in a dynamic, values-driven organization. You will support day-to-day accounting tasks while contributing to meaningful software implementation projects. At the end of the summer, you will present your accomplishments directly to our senior leadership team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• No prior professional experience required — we value enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, filing, and basic financial reporting support.
• Assist the accounting team with the implementation and testing of FloQast (accounting workflow and close management software).
• Support the implementation and rollout of Parabola (automation and data workflow software).
• Help maintain organized financial records and improve process documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with finance professionals.
• Complete a final summer project summarizing your milestones, learnings, and contributions, and present it to senior leadership.
