About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy student for a specialized summer internship. This role is focused on a critical infrastructure project: the systematic reorganization and renaming of a high-volume electronic document library. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student at West Virginia University, preferably majoring in accounting, finance, MIS, business management or a related field.
  • In good academic standing with the University and free of any disciplinary actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong accountability and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once project scope is defined.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and sorting documents into a digital directory structure based on date and document type.
  • Reviewing large volumes of digital files (PDFs, Excel, Word) and renaming them according to a pre-defined naming convention.
  • Maintaining a simple log of progress and identifying any files that require further administrative review.
