Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Experience in financial analysis, project finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or related finance functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and financial modeling
- Experience performing variance analysis and developing management reports
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems
- Exposure to consolidation and financial reporting tools
- Experience working in project-based, government contracting, engineering, manufacturing, or similar environments
Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure accurate project cost tracking and financial performance reporting
- Analyze utilization, labor costs, open commitments, forecasts, and key project metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities
- Assist with pricing, bids, and proposals, including reviewing cost estimates and evaluating financial risks
- Perform variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and original project plans
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
- Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and financial models to improve visibility into project performance
- Drive process improvements that increase reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls
- Collaborate across departments to support informed business decisions and project success
