About The Position

This position is responsible for the developing American Rheinmetall (AR) project and program management processes and procedures and executing project management to include development of resource loaded schedules, performance reporting, management of changes to the program management baseline and reporting of project performance for both internally funded projects and DoD contract projects. The Finance Analyst plays a critical role in the execution of large complex Combat vehicle development. This role involves supporting the Program Finance Manager and scheduling to create and maintain monthly consolidated dashboard and reports for AR. The analyst will conduct detailed analysis of project financials, comparing planned and actual costs, schedule performance, and earned value to assess project performance. They will also assist project managers and Cost Account Managers (CAMs) in developing project budgets and forecasts, establishing metrics and performance indicators, and working closely with scheduling, Program Management, and CAMs to develop resource loaded project plans, quantifiable back-up data, and performance reporting. The role supports the preparation of IPMDAR and Contractor Cost and Software Reporting (CSDR), and assists the PM Team in establishing project-specific implementation of CLIN to Work Package, WBS to Charge Number, and IMS schema to finance system for program control, monitoring, accounting, invoicing, and reporting. The analyst will manage and process Program Management Baseline changes through a Baseline Change Process and prepare reports to assist in the management of projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in financial analysis tools, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The position also involves growing and establishing AR processes, procedures, and systems compliant with specific DoD standards. Occasional travel up to 10% of the time, including potential travel to Europe, may be required. Other duties as directed by the Program Director or delegate will be undertaken.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage project costs and forecast budgets
  • Experience of DI-MGMT-81861A, the DoD EVMS Interpretation Guide
  • Familiarity with Contractor Cost and Software Reporting (CSDR) requirements
  • Experience with DELTEK suite of Project and Portfolio Management tools
  • Experience in Material Management and Accounting Systems (MMAS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Knowledge of ProPricer Software
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business Administration
  • 5 years or more experience in DoD Contract Program Finance reporting
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management and the implementation of compliant project financial reporting systems is preferred but not required.
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business Administration

Responsibilities
