Finance Analyst (Centennial, CO)
About The Position
This role is for a Finance Analyst (Business Partnering & Commercial Performance) in Centennial, Colorado, USA. It is a hybrid position requiring at least four days a week in the Centennial office. The role is designed for recent graduates or early-career finance professionals looking to develop into Finance Business Partners. The analyst will support commercial performance, financial reporting, business decision-making, and emerging AI-enabled finance solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing business performance, identifying growth opportunities, providing insights for strategic decisions, and gaining exposure to regional operations, new technology products, financial systems, forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level reporting. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience through internships, co-ops, projects, or early-career roles
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Power BI experience
- SAP or ERP exposure
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting
Responsibilities
- Supporting monthly business performance reviews and helping leaders understand key financial results.
- Identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and commercial drivers that influence profitability and growth.
- Partnering with commercial teams supporting Orica's New Technology business to analyze product and customer performance.
- Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Creating reports, dashboards, and performance analysis that improve decision quality.
- Leveraging Power BI, financial systems, and emerging AI technologies to improve reporting and automation.
- Supporting regional reporting requirements and communicating key performance insights to stakeholders across the business.
- Building strong relationships with finance and operational teams to understand what drives business success.
