Finance Analyst I, FAS
About The Position
This is the first in a series of four finance analyst roles in a multi-site, multi-specialty academic medical center. Performs tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, data entry, standard report preparation, analysis and/or routine compliance activities. Works in a team environment providing support to finance analysts and leadership under limited supervision. Actively communicates and presents information to various audiences. Uses reporting tools to develop management financial information. May develop expertise and/or become primary owner of a technical process. Interprets and applies basic Mayo and governmental finance and accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be located within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus for occasional on-site expectations based on business needs.
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, data entry, standard report preparation, analysis and/or routine compliance activities.
- Ability to work in a team environment providing support to finance analysts and leadership under limited supervision.
- Ability to actively communicate and present information to various audiences.
- Proficiency in using reporting tools to develop management financial information.
- Ability to interpret and apply basic Mayo and governmental finance and accounting policies and procedures.
