Finance Analyst

Bottomline Technologies is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their Finance team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights and analysis to senior leadership, as well as supporting global business teams with data-led insights. They will be involved in headcount reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and process improvement. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence commercial decisions and collaborate with global finance and business teams.

• Support global business teams on data-led insights and help build reporting and analytical capabilities
• Develop and maintain headcount reports for the organization, including headcount data by department, location, and job function
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in headcount reporting
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop headcount budgets and forecasts
• Monitor actual results against budget for headcount
• Continuously assess and improve headcount reporting processes and systems
• Implement best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency in headcount reporting
• Collaborate with finance team for financial analysis and insights

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of data
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements
