Timberland Regional Library is seeking a Finance Administrator who will be based out of the Service Center in Tumwater, WA. Under limited supervision, the Finance Administrator is responsible for the oversight and management of all financial aspects of the library district, including financial reports, budget, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, purchasing, cash flow, debt management, investments, future forecasts, and levy administration for Timberland Regional Library. The individual in this position analyzes, develops and administers the district budget, and directly maintains and acts as the highest point of approval for the general ledger. The Finance Administrator must be an excellent communicator to a variety of audiences, including the following: Board of Trustees, Administrative Leadership Team, TRL Employees, and the general public. The Finance Administrator serves as the primary contact with the State Auditor, county treasurers, and other relevant governmental agencies on an as-needed basis. An administrator creates, plans, and implements actions to achieve the objectives of the organization and may oversee employee work for a department or an organization. The Finance Administrator reports to the Executive Director, is a member of the Administrative Leadership Team, and provides daily supervision and direction to professional staff.
